Pay

$28.52–$38.52 per hour (based on shift, skills, education, and experience). Double time after 50 hours worked in a week.

Schedule

2nd Shift: 4:30 PM – 4:30 AM, Monday–Thursday.

Responsibilities

  • Perform regular maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Maintain equipment and machinery to ensure they are in good working condition
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work
  • Communicate with other departments to ensure equipment is running efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations
  • Continuously improve maintenance processes
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Preferred: 3+ years of experience in maintenance and repair of industrial equipment and machinery
  • Experience with welding equipment, cranes, forklifts, and other heavy machinery
  • Strong electrical knowledge
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with safety regulations
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions

  • Noise and dirt levels typical of a manufacturing environment
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Regular exposure to dirt, dust, paint fumes, noise, heights, moving equipment, heavy steel, and other possible hazardous conditions
  • Safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hats, and steel-toed boots are required; a respirator is required for specific operations
