Maintenance Technician
About the role
This is a hands-on maintenance role that supports our growing manufacturing operations in St. Joseph, Missouri. The role is critical to keeping our manufacturing equipment, systems, and facilities operating safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment and machinery
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Execute preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime
- Respond quickly to equipment failures to support manufacturing production flow
- Maintain facility systems including HVAC, lighting, and infrastructure
- Document all maintenance activities and ensure accurate records
- Support installation and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to improve reliability
- Identify and implement improvements to maintenance processes
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment required
- Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs and documentation
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Valid driver's license required
- Technical or trade school training preferred
