Maintenance Technician

Role: Maintenance Technician responsible for facility maintenance, inventory handling, and general upkeep in a food distribution environment. Key Responsibilities Receive, store, rotate, and manage stock supplies.Perform maintenance and janitorial duties across the facility.Deliver and pick up products as needed.Maintain equipment and fixtures following established procedures.Drive bakery van for store deliveries.Perform basic truck maintenance, clean drains, change slicer blades, and monitor water conditioners.Assist in production areas or pan room when required. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma; certifications may be required.Ability to follow instructions, work in a fast-paced setting, and perform basic math and reading tasks.Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds, bend, stretch, and stand for extended periods.Valid driver’s license required.Strong coordination, physical strength, and adaptability to varying temperatures and noise levels. Additional Details: The role involves working flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, with a starting wage of $17-$19 based on experience. Environmental conditions include exposure to temperature variations, chemicals, loud machinery, and odors typical of a bakery environment. Management may assign additional duties as needed.
