Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for collaborating with a team or working individually on the maintenance and repair of our state-of-the-art corporate campus. We are looking for someone with 1-3 years of facilities or commercial construction experience that is eager to learn and likes to get the job done right!

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair equipment and systems across over 2 million square feet of commercial office space.
• Collaborate with a team or work independently on tasks throughout the campus performing minor maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, and painting.
• Respond to requests for service and provide courteous, high-quality service to team members, vendors, and visitors.
• Assist with emergency situations in each building.
• Meet the physical requirements of the job and work in the environmental conditions listed below.

Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work safely following all safety procedures.
• Have mechanical aptitude and working knowledge around commercial HVAC, carpentry, electrical, painting, and plumbing.
• Meet all legal requirements to be able to work in the United States.
• Demonstrate good moral fitness and ethical standards.
• Have no disqualifying criminal history or convictions.
• Be able to work independently and make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures.

Qualifications

• Proficient at computer based programs in Microsoft and web based platforms.
• Detail oriented and have satisfactory literacy and writing, documentation, communications, and interpersonal abilities.

Skills

• Working knowledge around commercial HVAC, carpentry, electrical, painting, and plumbing preferred.
• Knowledgeable use of tools of the trade required.

Schedule

Monday through Friday hours, however, may be required to work nights, days, holidays and weekends.
