Maintenance Technician
Job Summary
UFC GYM is seeking a skilled Operations Manager to oversee daily safety inspections, preventative maintenance, technical repairs, sourcing, vendor coordination, and reporting. This position requires previous experience in operations or maintenance at a gym or health club setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct a daily safety walk-through of the facility to identify and immediately address any potential safety concerns.
- Maintain a detailed log of all preventative maintenance and keep a historical file on all club equipment.
- Perform monthly OSHA safety checks and ensure all equipment adheres to OSHA and PM guidelines.
- Execute facility improvements and special projects as directed by the General Manager or Operations Manager.
- Identify and procure necessary repair parts, tools, materials, and equipment required to keep the facility in peak condition.
- Manage the intake of supplies and ensure all maintenance materials are stored safely and organized.
- Update leadership regularly on the status of equipment repairs and any pending facility needs.
Requirements
- Previous experience in operations or maintenance at a gym or health club setting is required.
- General knowledge of HVAC and electrical equipment is essential.
- Use the internet to order parts and research repair solutions, communicate with vendors and leadership by email or MS Teams.
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Ability to lift heavy repair parts, stand for long periods, and navigate all areas of the facility (including mechanical rooms).
