Turnkey Processing Solutions, LLC is seeking Maintenance Technicians to join our mobile crews, working at various project locations. Per diem is paid in addition to hourly wage, with an average workweek of 50 to 60 hours.

Responsibilities

  • Service, repair, test, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on mobile and stationary equipment, conveyors, drive mechanisms, pumps, blowers, wire switches, starters, motors, and lights.
  • Dismantle and reassemble machines in the process of repair, installing, replacing, or changing machine parts.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with established customer standards or required specifications and in support of company quality standards.
  • Weld and fabricate parts, materials, and structures.
  • Operate heavy equipment; operate and work from a man lift.
  • Direct workers engaged in hoisting machinery and equipment using signals for crane operation.
  • Use hand and/or power tools.
  • Read blueprints and schematic drawings.
  • Coordinate installation and work efforts with management and complete work according to prepared schedules.
  • Lead helpers when Foreman is not on site, including conducting safety meetings and completing necessary documentation.
  • Complete and submit T&M field tickets when Foreman is not on site.
  • Complete all documentation requirements for assigned service trucks, including small tools and equipment kept on the truck.
  • Integrate safety into daily routines, lead by example, and emphasize completing all tasks safely; participate in Visible Felt Leadership (VFL).
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices in all work areas.
  • Comply with all MSHA, OSHA, company, and safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Travel as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience as a maintenance technician.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings.
  • Understanding of equipment purpose and operational knowledge of each type.
  • Previous experience working in industrial plants or on commercial structures preferred.
  • Knowledge of hand signals for crane operation.
  • Ability to work at heights.
  • Knowledge of MSHA and OSHA regulations.
  • High awareness of safety at all times, including constant awareness of others' safety as well as your own.
  • Agree to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the company.
  • Ability to work in special environments, special shift hours, and/or mandatory overtime.
  • Must be able and willing to travel.
  • Successfully pass pre-employment drug screen, background check, motor vehicle records check, and physical/occupational screenings.
