Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of equipment and systems within the manufacturing facility
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment including CNC machines, welders, overhead cranes, and forklifts
- Inspect equipment for proper operation and identify potential failure risks
- Replace worn or defective parts such as bearings, belts, motors, sensors, hoses, and fittings
- Maintain and repair facility systems including lighting, compressed air systems, and building infrastructure
- Support installation and setup of new equipment as needed
Qualifications
- 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and equipment manuals
- Acute attention to detail and ability to exercise good judgement
- Operate material handling equipment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Prioritize and plan work activities efficiently to meet deadlines; work on multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Ability to deal with change, delays, or unexpected events
- Ability to work in a team environment with multiple departments and diverse personalities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment (heat, noise, dust)
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
