Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Manage and organize library collections, ensuring they are accessible and up-to-date.
• Provide reference assistance and answer patrons' questions using various resources.
• Oversee the cataloging and classification of new materials.
• Develop and implement programs to enhance library services and user engagement.
• Collaborate with other departments within the library and external partners to improve service delivery.

Requirements

• A Master's degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited program.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in a library setting.
• Experience with library management systems and databases.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service orientation.
• Knowledge of current trends in library technology and services.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Skills
