Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance that keeps production equipment running at its best.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, then fix them — the kind of problem-solving that keeps the job interesting.
- Execute scheduled maintenance and keep accurate, reliable records.
- Partner with production, engineering, and outside vendors to tackle complex repairs.
- Help maintain a safe, organized workspace using 5S and standard operating procedures.
- Contribute ideas that improve process consistency and make the work better for everyone.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and equipment diagrams.
- Mentor and train newer technicians and share what you know (advanced levels).
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED required; vocational certificate or Associate's degree a plus.
- Level 1 — 1–3 years of relevant experience.
- Level 2 — 1–3+ years with demonstrated process knowledge and training ability.
- Level 3 — 3–5+ years with leadership and mentorship experience.
- Journeyman's certificate or equivalent preferred for advanced levels.
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge; PLC familiarity is a plus.
- Comfortable reading schematics, blueprints, and work orders.
- Solid planning, organizational, and time-management skills.
- A sharp eye for detail and a quality-first mindset.
- A problem-solver who likes finding better ways to do things.
- Technical aptitude and genuine motivation to keep learning and growing.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
