Essential Job Details
- Carry out routine inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and operational issues.
- Diagnose and execute repairs related to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, and general building maintenance.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to enhance equipment performance, reduce failures, and extend asset life.
- Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and work orders to complete maintenance tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, equipment, and other resources to complete repairs and maintenance activities safely and effectively.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, service records, and completed work orders.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and contractors to support repair projects and ensure timely completion.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize disruptions and maintain operational standards.
- Aid in inventory management by tracking materials, supplies, and equipment needs.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and develop maintenance best practices.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and provide emergency response support as required.
- Operate company vehicles and specialized equipment as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Previous experience in facility maintenance, building maintenance, or a related trade required.
- Strong understanding of repair methods, preventative maintenance, and general building systems.
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural maintenance issues.
- Ability to utilize hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, manuals, and work orders.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- HVAC, building maintenance, or related trade certification preferred.
- Valid state-issued driver's license and good driving record required.
- Ability to work extended hours as needed, including emergency/on-call support.
