Essential Functions
A Ziegenfelder Maintenance Technician 1 is responsible for:
- Ensuring production equipment is set up and maintained to produce quality Ziegenfelder treats ready for delivery to customers.
- Preparing and configuring machinery for scheduled production runs.
- Learning (through hands on training) to troubleshoot mechanical systems, and providing immediate corrective maintenance support to production lines, conveyor belts, and ancillary production equipment.
- Checking and maintaining proper fluid levels in various pieces of equipment.
- Learning (through hands on training) to perform overhauls of existing production equipment.
- Aiding in the installation of new production equipment.
- Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Able to assist in completing Maintenance Associate essential functions if needed.
- Complying with OSHA Safety and Health rules.

- Candidate Must Be Flexible in Working Any Shift Available for This Position:
- Physical Abilities: Standing up to 8 hours per day, moving and lifting objects weighing up to 50 lbs. regularly, bending, twisting, reaching, and grasping actions, good spatial awareness working around manufacturing equipment.

- Ability to Work in Temperatures of Less Than 32F for More Than One Hour with Proper Protection Equipment:
