Satellite Accumulation Area - Affected Worker
Primary Duties:
- Level 1: Ability to lift and carry up to 50+ lbs., operate a variety of hand and power tools, meet goals and objectives established by management, communicate with management to resolve issues, keep complete, accurate, and timely records, achieve measurable continuous improvement in productivity, quality, and waste reduction.
- Level 2: Knowledge of how to operate a variety of hand and power tools, respirator certification, usage, cleaning and storage, read, interpret and follow documents such as safety rules, operation manuals and maintenance instructions, troubleshoot mechanical failures of equipment and replace parts or make adjustments as needed, perform preventive maintenance on production equipment, keep accurate timeline for equipment repairs for more precise downtime tracking.
- Level 3: Demonstrate ability to use QT9 for the purpose of PM work orders and machine repair work orders, use a multi-meter to test electrical components, diagnose and repair simple computer to printer communication failures, demonstrate professional communication skills coupled with sound decision making.
- Level 4: Diagnose and repair lower level AC failures (capacitors/fan motors), repair electrical failures on production equipment, perform general building maintenance, use downtime tracking as a way to reduce/eliminate recurring failures, work on drive systems (bearing installation, pulley alignment and belt installation), ensure that all components are properly aligned and tensioned after installation, do small plumbing projects.
- Level 5: Diagnose and repair failures on the Glaze Coat Filling machines, and electrical failures on Glaze Coat in-line blending (Sonic) machine, diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical failures on All-Fill SF filling machine, diagnose and repair failures on Leibinger inkjet printers, and desktop printers, diagnose and repair failures on both circle label and box label applicators, diagnose and repair hydraulic failures on putty mixers, and diagnose and repair failures on stretch wrap machines, demonstrate ability to set-up/program AP data weigh in-motion check weighers.
- Level 6: Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical failures on Alloyd blister packaging machines, Norden filling machines, and Prosys filling machines, diagnose and repair hydraulic failures on SB putty mixers, failures on adhesive mixers, and failures stretch wrap machines, demonstrate ability to set-up/program Ishida check weighers on filling machines.
- Level 7: Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical failures on All-Fill SB putty filling machine, PMI automatic case packager, ESS V-30 robotic case packager, adhesive mixers, and SB putty ribbon blenders, demonstrate ability to set-up/program Ishida check weighers on filling machines, program robotic arm, via teach pendant, to be able to modify locations for more efficient and precise movements.
- Level 8: Create purchase requisitions and receive product in IFSTrack downtime, Continually look for ways to minimize downtime, and to look for ways to more accurately track downtime, schedule machine downtime and personnel for machine PM’s, and assist in improving operators skills and training for the purposes of improved machine operation and maintenance, maintain clean and safe work space, perform miscellaneous duties as requested by supervisor.
Experience: Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred, minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training in a manufacturing or production environment (includes mechanical/machinery and/or electrical).
