Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Portland Regency Hotel & Spa is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. Located in the heart of Portland’s Old Port District, this full-time position offers a rotating on-call schedule and competitive pay ranging from $20–$27 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs, including painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and basic carpentry.
• Complete preventative maintenance for guest rooms, public spaces, and equipment.
• Maintain hotel exterior areas and assist with snow removal and grounds upkeep.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Ensure all tools and work areas are kept clean, organized, and safe.
• Support additional maintenance needs as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 2 years of related experience or training preferred (not required).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs and perform physical maintenance tasks.
• Commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and safety standards.
