What You’ll Do as a Maintenance & Service Tech
- Perform regular/emergency service and routine annual maintenance on systems installed in attics, basements, and crawl spaces.
- Change filters.
- Confirm dehumidifiers are functioning properly.
- Change batteries and test alarms.
- Pull and reinstall dehumidifiers and sump pumps.
- Dig for drain lines and outlets.
- Inspect systems and diagnose issues.
- Update electronic records with photos, notes, estimates, etc.
- Communicate with homeowners to discuss findings and plan repairs.
- Identify problems, educate homeowners, and sell solutions.
What We’re Looking for in a Maintenance & Service Tech
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Basic mechanical and tool knowledge.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person and in writing.
- Independent thinking and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive, can-do attitude and a willingness to stay busy.
- A dedication to providing the highest standards of customer service.
- Proficiency with technology and ability to learn software.
- An attention to organization, details, and follow-up.
- The ability to independently lift/carry 50lbs.
- Basic construction and carpentry knowledge (preferred).
- Sales experience in the home improvement industry (preferred).

Working Conditions
- Driving between office and jobsites in company service vehicles.
- All seasonal weather conditions, including rain, snow, and extreme heat.
- Small, tight, dark, damp areas of the home.
- Physical Requirements: Standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, stooping, crouching, kneeling, climbing, etc.
