Maintenance Technician
About the Role
The Maintenance Technician performs routine tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of equipment and facilities, supporting production operations by minimizing downtime through timely maintenance and repairs. The role involves maintaining accurate records, adhering to safety regulations, and collaborating with team members and other departments.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine but diversified maintenance tasks
- Install and maintain production machines and the plant’s facility equipment
- Diagnose problems, repair and replace parts, test, and make adjustments
- Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities
- Assist in the inspection and troubleshooting of equipment to identify issues
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report findings to supervisors
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S standards
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Vocational training or certification in relevant field (e.g., electrical, mechanical, HVAC) preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in general maintenance or related field
- Basic knowledge of maintenance procedures and safety practices
- Basic proficiency with hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret simple diagrams and manuals
- Understanding of basic mechanical and electrical systems

Pay
The hiring range for this position is $20.68 - $31.02 per hour. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate’s background, education, training, experience, and geographic considerations.
