Maintenance Technician

Position Overview

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for daily inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues that may impact operations. Other duties include maintenance of boiler and HVAC equipment, electrical and other equipment, and general maintenance of the facilities and grounds. Electrical, communications, and/or systems, IWMS, BMS experience preferred.

• Receives direction from: Facilities Manager.

Education & Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of verifiable and successful building operations experience.
• Experience in a medical setting or with medical equipment preferred.

Licenses & Certifications

• Valid MT drivers' license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons and no moving violations for one year in order to operate Clinic vehicles.
• A current Montana Low Pressure Boiler Operators License or obtained within one year of hire.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Current working knowledge of boilers and low-pressure boiler operator's license.
• Previous experience in building operations a plus.

Computer & Keyboarding Skills

• Ability to work with a variety of equipment, analyze and solve complex problems.
• Current skills in welding, soldering, plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, grounds care, and equipment operation, carpentry, concrete, and landscaping required.
