Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical systems)
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment and facility issues
- Communicate clearly with staff, management, and residents about maintenance needs and updates
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment longevity
- Respond to urgent and emergency maintenance requests (including occasional after-hours)
- Maintain tools, supplies, and inventory
- Accurately complete work orders and maintenance documentation
- Follow all safety standards and regulations
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Maintenance experience preferred (healthcare or senior living a plus)
- Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- High school diploma or equivalent (trade/vocational training a plus)
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 75 lbs
- Stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
