Maintenance Technician
About the role
We are seeking a skilled professional to support the operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and kitchen equipment in assigned facilities. Our team values individuals who can work both independently and collaboratively while ensuring a safe and efficient environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the operations team with maintenance and repairs of building systems and equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
- Conduct general interior maintenance tasks such as HVAC/R coil cleaning, kitchen equipment maintenance, and minor plumbing repairs.
- Perform special assignments including painting, locksmith tasks, lighting system maintenance, and responding to tenant service requests as needed.
- Document work performance and materials procurement as directed, while participating in ongoing technical, safety, and operational training programs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent and completion of an applicable technical training program is desirable.
- Class B UST Certification and a valid state driver’s license must be possessed and maintained.
- Minimum of one year of applicable experience in general building repair and maintenance, including basic plumbing and basic electrical work.
- Ability to lift at least 80 lbs., use ladders up to 30 feet, and pass background, drug/alcohol, and MVR screening processes.
