Maintenance Technician
About the role
Spang Engineered Solutions, a division of Spang & Company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician based in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves providing general maintenance labor for the repair and upkeep of two facilities in the West Valley, coordinating vendor work, and performing various tasks including cleaning, repairs, and inspections.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the building and grounds, keeping them clean
- Perform minor repairs (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting)
- Set up and repair equipment
- Conduct preventative maintenance
- Move furniture, receive deliveries
- Cook up permits, inspections, fire drills, and oversee third-party vendors
- Manage scrap recycling, hazardous waste
- Maintain equipment manuals
- Lead safety inspections
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of experience in general maintenance
- Valid driver's license
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent

Skills
- General maintenance skills
- Ability to perform physical labor
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting
