Requirements What You'll Do As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for completing maintenance and repair work across our residential properties and company facilities. Responsibilities Complete maintenance work orders professionally and in a timely mannerPerform general repairs, including: Basic electrical workPlumbing repairsCarpentry and drywall repairsPainting and touch-upsGeneral property maintenance Troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine appropriate solutionsPerform preventative maintenance to reduce future repair needsAssist with exterior property upkeep and seasonal maintenance tasksMaintain a safe, clean, and professional work environmentCommunicate effectively with tenants, vendors, and team membersRespond to occasional after-hours emergency maintenance calls when necessary Preferred Qualifications What We're Looking For Previous experience in property maintenance, facilities maintenance, construction, remodeling, or handyman servicesWorking knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repair practicesAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detailPositive attitude and strong work ethicReliable and dependable Required Qualifications Valid driver's license and reliable transportationBasic hand and power tools necessary for routine maintenance workAbility to lift, carry, climb ladders, and perform physical work throughout the dayAbility to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Benefits Why Join Smoker Property Management?
