Maintenance Technician

The ideal candidate must be organized, professional, motivated, and dependable, capable of working well alone or as a member of a team. They must have good awareness of internal and external deadlines and experience in HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, locks, framing, drywall, texture, painting and finishing, tile work, and other general carpentry work.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and attend guest repair requests, providing professional and courteous service at all times
• Operate, repair, and maintain all hotel lighting and related equipment systems
• Operate, repair, and maintain all plumbing and related equipment and systems
• Repair and maintain all hotel appliances, equipment, and physical plant
• Paint surfaces and equipment, perform minor wall covering repairs, and touch up furniture
• Repair and maintain lock and key systems
• Perform minor construction work
• Conduct necessary inspections and repairs to kitchen and restaurant equipment and furnishings as required
• Ensure all projects are completed according to specifications and on time
• Perform any other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a supervisory role
• Excellent working knowledge of and experience in all facets of building maintenance
• Knowledge of electrical systems and HVAC required
• Excellent guest service skills with a high level of organization and attention to detail
• Ability to work as part of a team with a positive attitude
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
