Maintenance Technician

About the role

We're looking for someone who takes pride in fixing what's broken and keeping machines running—someone ready to take on the challenge of mastering new machinery and becoming the person everyone relies on to keep production running.

What You'll Do

• Be the go-to person for the Maintenance Lead when issues come up
• Keep production moving by proactively anticipating repairs and completing projects to minimize downtime
• Review manuals so that jobs get done right the first time
• Lead line changeovers and ensure everything is set up correctly
• Learn our preventative and predictive maintenance program and support the Maintenance Team Lead in sustaining it
• Help take care of facility needs like plumbing, electrical, painting, and general upkeep
• Complete periodic inspections and minor repairs of forklifts and lifts
• Troubleshoot machine problems using your knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics—and fix the root cause, not just the symptom
• Replace motors, drives, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, and more
• Lead by example in safety: lockout/tagout, fall protection, welding/grinding, spill prevention, and more
• Help to build and maintain a reliable parts inventory system
