Maintenance Technician

Roles & Responsibilities

• To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Self-Starter with Leadership and problem-solving skills
• Perform routine and predictive maintenance
• Perform general cleaning and maintains clean work area
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment, electrical & mechanical issues and then repair
• Strong customer service skills
• Comfortable communicating complex issues with superior, co-workers and customers in a professional manner
• Proven ability to work safely in industrial environments
• Familiar with and utilize proper Lock Out/ Tag Out safety procedures
• Perform preventative equipment maintenance and repairs on all floor equipment, scrubbers, chariot vacuums, extractors, etc.
• Respond positively to requests in a timely manner
• Able to use hand and power tools, use of scissor lifts, ladders and scaffolding
• Soldering and welding a plus
• Maintain maintenance logs and schedules

Qualification

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform this job safely.
• Education and/ or Experience: Six months minimum experience in a company environment or equivalent experience and or training such as basic plumbing, painting, HVAC or construction. Two years Electrical Experience minimum. High School diploma or GED or equivalent combination of training and experience preferred.
• Must complete all safety, environmental and task training and or certifications.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and talk or listen.
• The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.

Compensation And Shift

• Mon.-Fri 7am-3:30pm $17.00-$18.00 per hour
