About the Role
Oversee repairs and improvements of occupied and vacant homes, as well as the general maintenance and upkeep of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure maintenance tickets are completed in a timely manner.
- Lawn care including: mowing, edging, spraying for weeds.
- Plumbing knowledge including water and sewer connections/lines.
- Knowledge of general maintenance protocol.
- Repair and rehab mobile homes.
- Painting.
- Light electrical.
- General park cleanup.
- Operate personal or company vehicle to pick up supplies or to execute company-related business offsite.
- Regularly report to supervisor.
- Take and address after-hours emergency calls and respond accordingly.
- Devote all working time, attention, knowledge, and skills to the employer's business interests in good faith and with best efforts.
- Perform other duties as assigned or customarily performed by similar positions.
Requirements
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Work 5 days per week (Monday–Friday) and be on-call as needed.
- Capable of working up to 8+ hours per day, with occasional longer days for emergencies.
- Capable of climbing, kneeling, crouching, bending, crawling, pushing, pulling, and lifting 50+ pounds (with assistance).
- Operate machinery such as mowers, weed eaters, backhoes, and other equipment for repairs and refurbishments.
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions, walking across communities for extended periods, climbing stairs, and using ladders.
- Use a company app on a personal phone to complete maintenance tickets; may receive texts/calls from the company. A $25 bi-weekly phone stipend is provided.
