Responsibilities

Handle hands-on repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and pool and spa systems.
Respond quickly to work orders and ensure each is completed to a high standard.
Conduct property walks to identify maintenance issues early and maintain compliance with safety and health codes.
Maintain curb appeal by keeping grounds, building exteriors, and common areas clean and functional.
Partner with the Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize tasks, approve purchases, and coordinate with vendors.
Document all work, including materials used, hours spent, and completion status.
Participate in an after-hours emergency on-call rotation and assist with snow and ice removal.
Keep maintenance software up to date to ensure accurate and timely work order tracking.
Follow all safety procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook, SOPs, OSHA standards, and equipment labels.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least one year of experience in general maintenance and repair work.
Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, CPO, and carpentry systems.
Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical capacity to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, climb ladders, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software.

Preferred Qualifications

Trade school or technical certification.
Onsite multifamily maintenance experience.
Experience with Yardi Voyager, RentCafe, AIRM, LEO, Appwork, or similar CRM tools.
Spanish fluency.

Tools Required

You are expected to provide and maintain a basic set of personal hand tools. We supply power tools and larger equipment as needed. Within 30 days of your start date, ensure you have the following tools:

Pay

$19-$21 per hour plus commissions. Final compensation is based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
