Maintenance Technician

Richman Property Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in Clearwater and St. Petersburg, FL. This role serves our 131-unit multi-family residential communities, Clear Harbor and The Shores, with a 20-minute drive between properties. On-call rotation is required every other week.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property
  • Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines
  • Manage service requests and ensure timely completion
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act
  • Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment
  • Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner
  • Assist in property preventative maintenance plan
  • Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds
  • Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service
  • Perform on-call duties and occasional overtime

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or Groundskeeper experience
  • Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting
  • Valid Driver’s License required
  • Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required

Qualifications

  • EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license. If you do not have your EPA but possess the right skills and experience, RPS may sponsor and pay for your EPA I and II within your first 75 days on the job
  • Minimum of 2 years of apartment maintenance experience

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with on-call weekend rotation.

Pay

Competitive base hourly pay, full-time at 40 hours per week. Automatic quarterly pay increases after the initial 90 days of service. $40 monthly personal cell phone allowance. Annual discretionary bonus.
