Maintenance Technician

Retif Oil & Fuel is one of the largest fuel and lubricant distributors in the southeast, serving the community since 1965. We strive to grow our annual gallons sold to create new job opportunities and positively impact our customers, co-workers, and community.

Responsibilities

• Foster a safe work environment
• Maintain inventory of all tanks and equipment
• Clean, pressure wash, and paint tanks to prep them for customers
• Prepare fuel and lubricant tanks for shipment to customer sites
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform maintenance at customer site locations
• Install monitors on tanks
• Perform tank and site inspections at customer locations
• Aid in the warehouse as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent required
• TWIC eligible
• While performing duties, the employee is required to sit, stoop, lift up to 50 pounds, type, communicate effectively, manage conflict, work evenings and/or weekends, attend remote meetings, and travel
• Successfully perform quality work within deadlines with or without supervision
• Interact professionally and confidently with other employees, customers, and contacts
• Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments
• Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations

Qualifications
