Maintenance Technician

About the Role

We’re looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team at Croftbank Care Home, where you will play a crucial role in creating a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for our residents. This full-time position (40 hours a week) offers flexibility, versatility, and an opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of our residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on the building, its services, and grounds
• Maintain the gardens, car park, and common areas
• Oversee outdoor storage areas
• Maintain clear and accurate records in line with Health & Safety standards and compliance, including fire safety
• Support a secure, comfortable, and homely atmosphere for residents

Requirements

• Uphold the values of People, Friendly, Passionate, and Inclusion
• Hold a clean UK Driving Licence and have a vehicle
• Proven track record in building maintenance
• At least one year's experience in a similar role
• Awareness of Health & Safety requirements
• Willingness to undertake mandatory training
• Recognised trade qualification (desirable)
