Maintenance Technician

Position Summary

The Maintenance Mechanic position at Rangen, LLC is responsible for preventive maintenance and other maintenance tasks to keep facilities running at optimal capacity and efficiency. This is a Monday through Friday position, with occasional Saturdays as needed. Qualified candidates must be able to work overtime.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or related fields
• Associate Degree or Technical Degree in a pertinent field (a bonus)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Working knowledge of hydraulics
• Working knowledge of manufacturing environments or other manufacturing experience
• General understanding of Preventive Maintenance programs and how to implement these in a manufacturing facility
• Understanding of lockout/tagout (LOTO) and other safety protocols
• Strong communication skills
• Experience using Microsoft computer products
• Ability to lift to 55 lbs.
• Comfortable working at heights, including climbing ladders and stairs
• Comfortable working in narrow and confined spaces, with no claustrophobia

Qualifications

• Experience with many facets of industrial operations, including welding, electrical, bearings, chains, shafts, belts, electric motors, etc.
• Mechanical knowledge of processing equipment such as mixers, screw conveyers, hammer mills, grain legs
• Welding certificates, electrical certificate
• A safety-first mindset
