Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Lytle Park Hotel, an Autograph Collection property, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join its dynamic team. Located in Cincinnati, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the hotel's mission of redefining hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance of building and facility mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Performs general electrical repairs on appliances, house wiring, and air conditioning systems.
• Makes repairs on plumbing fixtures, piping, drains, and sanitary systems.
• Performs general mechanical maintenance on pumps, compressors, water heaters, automotive equipment, and other miscellaneous equipment.
• Keeps records as required by company policy and procedures.
• Maintains logs on completed tasks.
• Prepares reports as requested by supervisors.
• Sets up and maintains preventative maintenance program of the resort/hotel.

Requirements

• Experience working in a Maintenance role at a hotel or resort.
• Knowledge of household repairs (cabinet work, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
• An engaging and welcoming personality.
• A strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid first aid certification.

Pay

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour.

Schedule

Variety of shifts including weekends and holidays.
