Responsibilities
- Perform, coordinate, supervise, and oversee all repairs and improvements of the physical plant and campus.
- Maintain a healthy and safe facility.
- Service all machinery, appliances, and tools.
- Maintain and update files of warranties and service contracts on all equipment.
- Perform daily maintenance duties.
- Conduct weekly inspections of the building to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Ensure the building is adequately supplied.
- Complete all work orders within 24 hours.
- Perform daily preventative maintenance duties.
- Maintain 24-hour on-call coverage.
- Maintain the IHW maintenance log.
- Maintain kitchen equipment.
- Secure service as needed.
- Maintain outside grounds.
- Ensure trash is picked up by vendor.
- Maintain agency vehicle.
- Conduct fire drills every month to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Provide transport as needed.
- Ensure proper storage of food and household supplies.
Qualifications
- Good organizational skills.
- At least two years of experience in maintenance and groundskeeping work.
- A High School Diploma/GED or Graduation from an accredited trade school.
