Responsibilities

• Collaborate internally and across PSI to schedule preventative maintenance and maintain records appropriately
• Ensure appropriate inventory of spare parts, supplies, and equipment necessary to complete jobs effectively and eliminate downtime
• Troubleshoot the root cause for the unplanned maintenance repair and make adjustments as needed
• Assist the installation and assembly of new equipment and the improvement to equipment and facilities

Requirements

• Willing to work Monday-Friday from 5pm - 5am and be readily available for emergency repairs in breakdown situations outside of your normal hours
• Able to read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic and electrical drawings
• Have in-depth knowledge and ability to troubleshoot hydraulics (pumps, motors, valves, cylinders) and electrical (single phase, DC circuits, PLC, knowledge of three phase, use multi-meter)
• Have in-depth knowledge and experience with fabrication (welding, plasma, torch experience)
• Communicate effectively with all levels of organization and between shifts
• Support others to accomplish goals by responding with professionalism and having a strong sense of urgency to make reasonable decisions and swiftly refer to appropriate level if needed
• Looks for ways to continuously improve processes by anticipating problems, seeking best answers and exploring multiple possibilities to offer solutions
• Proven maintenance experience preferably in manufacturing environment with preferably an accreditation from a technical school or applicable skills trade program

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Position requires rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
