Maintenance Technician

About the role

Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support facility maintenance at various locations within the agency's service area.

Responsibilities

• Provide building maintenance experience, including coordination with contracted vendors.
• Repair physical structures such as painting, light bulbs, carpet, furniture, furnishings, and recommend repairs or replacements.
• Plan and manage repairs or replacements for items like carpet, furniture, furnishings, etc.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of ground sprinkler systems, including time regulation.
• Offer feedback to facility coordinators and supervisors.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Electrical, plumbing, A/C and heating training required.

Qualifications

• Building maintenance experience required, preferably in an industrial setting.

Skills

• Ability to coordinate and maintain services with contracted vendors.
• Ability and knowledge to repair physical structures.
• Ability to plan and recommend repairs or replacements.
• Ability to follow proper procedures and maintain timely operations.
• Ability to provide feedback to facility coordinators and supervisors.
