Maintenance Technician

Peabody Properties seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to join its team of property management professionals at an apartment community in Templeton, MA.

Responsibilities

• Electrical maintenance and repair
• Plumbing maintenance and repair
• HVAC maintenance and repair
• Appliance repair
• Locks and keys maintenance and repair
• Basic carpentry
• Painting and drywall repair
• Janitorial, grounds, and snow removal duties
• Maintaining a high level of cleanliness in the building’s common areas and other assigned areas
• Maintaining exterior grounds according to company standards
• On-call coverage for emergencies after hours, weekends, and holidays
• Responding and remedying maintenance issues in a timely manner

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years of prior experience in the facilities maintenance field
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
• Solid computer skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter
• Reliable vehicle needed to perform essential duties of the position
