About the role
We are seeking an energetic, driven, and relationship-focused Maintenance Technician to join the opening team at Rove, a brand-new 217-unit luxury apartment community located in the heart of Downtown Redmond. PCP is a multifamily development company focused on land acquisition, development, and long-term holdings in high-growth lifestyle markets.
Responsibilities
- Performing regular maintenance tasks, such as painting, caulking, light carpentry, light electrical, light plumbing, landscaping, and roof repairs
- Making repairs to mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, (MEP) such as HVAC systems, boilers, and chillers
- Performing preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all MEP systems
- Identifying all potential hazards in regard to life safety, functionality of equipment and cleanliness of both the interior and exterior of the facility
- Performing routine inspections of mechanical and electrical systems, fire and life safety installations, and the entire premises to avoid all injuries and potential property damage
- Supporting exterior grounds activities, such as snow removal, landscaping, and parking lot maintenance
- Handling pest control initiatives
- Interacting and communicating both verbally and written with the facility personnel and tenants
- Additional duties as assigned by property management
Qualifications
- A minimum of 1-2 years of related experience
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Strong knowledge in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems
- HVAC certification is required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, stay organized and meet deadlines
- Able to be on-call for responding to after-hours emergencies
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs
