About the role

Responsible for providing educational support to students in Catholic schools.

Responsibilities

  • Assist teachers in planning and implementing lesson plans.
  • Supervise students during class time and extracurricular activities.
  • Maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to enhance student learning experiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
  • Experience working with children in a school setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Catholic values and principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid New York State teaching certification or ability to obtain within one year.
