Maintenance Technician

About the role

NXT Property Management is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in maintaining communities.

Responsibilities

• Completing maintenance service requests in occupied apartment homes
• Performing preventative maintenance and property inspections
• Preparing vacant apartments for new residents
• Maintaining community grounds, common areas, and amenities
• Troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, and other building systems
• Delivering exceptional customer service to residents and team members
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail and time-management abilities
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Basic computer skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide outstanding customer service
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Apartment, multifamily, or property maintenance experience
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance, drywall, or general repairs
• Experience with groundskeeping and property upkeep
