Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience in general maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and painting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, residents, and vendors.
• All maintenance employees are required to have their own hand tools to carry out job functions - other power tools will be provided.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as part of the on-call responsibility.
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, sitting for extended periods, climbing, bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds. Must also work inside and outside in all weather conditions and may be required to operate a golf cart on the property.

Prior Experience and Skills

• Previous experience in general maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and painting.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to climb, bend, and squat.
• Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry weights up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work inside and outside in all weather conditions.
• May be required to operate a golf cart on the property.
