Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Links at High Resort is a 301-unit apartment community in Rio Rancho, NM. It offers top-tier amenities such as two resort-style swimming pools, a 24-hour fitness center, a dog park, and BBQ picnic areas.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance service requests and work orders including HVAC, electrical, pool maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and housekeeping items.
• Work safely and efficiently to complete apartments turnovers for scheduled move-ins.
• Handle after-hours emergency calls and be on-call, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience in general maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and painting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with staff, residents, and vendors.
• Must have own hand tools and be able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as part of the on-call responsibility.
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, sitting, climbing, bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and operating a golf cart.
