About the Role
The Maintenance Technician performs general building maintenance and light repair work across all Neosho School District facilities.
Responsibilities
- Respond to assigned work orders in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform general carpentry, drywall patching, and minor interior repairs.
- Repair or replace ceiling tiles, floor tiles, doors, door hardware, and classroom furniture.
- Paint interior walls, doors, and trim as needed.
- Handle basic fixture repairs such as unclogging drains, toilets, and sinks, and replacing faucets or flush valve parts.
- Complete assigned preventive maintenance tasks and document work.
- Assist with setup and teardown for district events and summer projects.
- Follow all District safety policies and maintain tools, vehicles, and work areas in clean, safe condition.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
