Maintenance Technician

About the role

As a Maintenance Technician at PolyFlex - Part of Nefab Group, you will interact with PFP management to ensure timely and accurate information for maintenance planning and delivery of cost estimates for new and existing equipment repairs or replacement. You will proactively lead Thermoforming equipment maintenance project activities internally and externally to ensure equipment longevity and optimal usage. Acting as a project leader, you will ensure planning and reporting of all critical project activities to team members, managing projects efficiently to meet or exceed timing, quality, and budgetary expectations.

You will contribute to maintenance on Thermoforming presses, Dryers, Thermolator, Chillers, Air compressors, and general building and equipment maintenance. This position is located in McMinnville, TN, and you will report to the Maintenance Manager.

Responsibilities

• Interact with PFP management for maintenance planning and cost estimates for equipment repairs or replacement.
• Proactively lead Thermoforming equipment maintenance projects to ensure equipment longevity and optimal usage.
• Act as project leader to plan and report critical project activities to team members.
• Ensure projects meet or exceed timing, quality, and budgetary expectations.
• Maintain Thermoforming presses, Dryers, Thermolator, Chillers, Air compressors, and general building and equipment.
• Implement and comply with standard work processes for preventative maintenance regimens.
• Maintain maintenance logs and inventory items.
• Develop and report project-critical elements (e.g., open issues, timing plans) to management teams.
• Travel up to a 75-mile radius as needed.

Requirements

• Education in basic electrical wiring, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC operation.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the injection molding industry.
• Experience with implementation and compliance of preventative maintenance processes.
• Organized and efficient in developing and reporting project-critical elements.
• Willingness to travel up to a 75-mile radius.
• PLC programming is a plus.
