Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to help keep our property, equipment, and facilities in safe and working condition. The ideal candidate is someone who can troubleshoot problems, perform general repairs, and take pride in keeping things running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the property
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general building issues
• Handle basic carpentry, painting, drywall, and other handyman projects
• Perform preventative maintenance to identify and address problems before they become major issues
• Respond to maintenance requests and complete work in a timely manner
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Coordinate with outside contractors when specialized repairs are needed
• Follow all applicable safety procedures and building codes
• Keep basic records of repairs, maintenance, and materials used

Qualifications

• Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, construction, or a related field preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working with hand and power tools
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
• Dependable, punctual, and professional
• Good communication skills
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Ability to lift, carry, bend, climb, and perform physical work as needed
