Maintenance Technician

Our apartment community in Spencerport, NY is seeking a Maintenance Service Technician with strong HVAC and plumbing experience who enjoys solving problems, staying busy, and taking pride in delivering quality work. This role supports a 150-unit community and partners closely with a Service Manager overseeing multiple sites, making communication, accountability, and a team-first mindset essential to success.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot service issues including, but not limited to, HVAC, plumbing, general appliance repair, carpentry, electrical, and preventative maintenance
- Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws
- Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service requests and work orders
- Communicate clearly, professionally, and respectfully with residents and office staff regarding repairs, updates, and follow-up needs
- Assist with preventative maintenance and help maintain the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of the community
Requirements
- Active, valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
- HVAC / EPA / CFC certification preferred
- One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Pay
Base Pay: $23.00 – $26.00 per hour

Schedule
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Paid rotating on-call participation required
