Our 212-unit apartment community, as part of a maintenance team supporting the Dover area, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Service Technician with at least two years of maintenance experience who takes ownership of their work, enjoys solving problems, and is committed to delivering an exceptional experience for residents.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair maintenance issues including HVAC systems, appliances, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building systems
- Complete service requests efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and customer service
- Assist with apartment turns and make-ready projects to prepare homes for new residents
- Maintain community grounds, common areas, and building exteriors in accordance with company standards and safety requirements
- Support curb appeal initiatives and seasonal responsibilities, including snow removal and emergency preparedness efforts
- Communicate professionally with residents, vendors, and team members regarding repairs, timelines, and service updates
- Utilize mobile technology and work order systems to accurately document completed work
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and resident satisfaction
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of general maintenance or related trades experience required
- Hands-on experience with HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, carpentry, and general repairs
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Customer-focused mindset with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and doing the right thing for residents and teammates
- Active, valid driver's license and personal vehicle
- Must live within a reasonable distance to support on-call and emergency response requirements
- Comfortable using smartphones, mobile applications, and computer systems to manage work orders and maintenance activities

- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle

- Base Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour

Pay
- Base Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour

Schedule
- Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Paid rotating on-call participation required (approximately every 5 weeks across Dover-area properties)
- Schedule subject to change based on business needs
