Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, grounds care, etc.)
• Inspect facilities, equipment, and safety systems (including fire alarms)
• Auxiliary with preventive maintenance programs and departmental operations
• Handle on-call duties (weekends) and prioritize urgent repairs
• Maintain records and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Provide excellent service to residents and staff

Qualifications

• ~2+ years of maintenance experience preferred
• Skills in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot systems
• Knowledge of building codes and safety practices
• Strong problem-solving and independent work ability
• Clean driving record; must pass drug test
