Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Prepare apartments for tours/the incoming residents' move-in by conducting lock changes, move-out inspections, trash out, punch out, and scheduling vendors where necessary.
• Track and complete service requests on occupied and vacant apartments, office/clubhouse, and amenities and perform timely repairs, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, lighting, etc.
• Auxiliary duties may include assisting with semi-annual property inspections, including fire safety, pest control, etc.
• Assist with controlling and reporting stock and inventory.
• Safely use and perform periodic maintenance of tools and equipment (hammer, drill, saw, gauges, etc.).
• Complete any additional projects as requested under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualifications

• A current and valid drivers license is required.
• 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in multifamily or a related field.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
• Must obtain EPA within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to complete physical tasks including lifting, climbing, and working in various conditions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
