Maintenance Technician

Marquette Management Inc. is looking for a Maintenance Technician in Oswego, IL. This role plays a key role in providing residents with a clean, well-maintained living environment.

About the role

The responsibilities of the maintenance department include general repairs to apartments and common areas, vacant apartment preparation, snow and trash removal, emergency repairs, cleaning, landscaping, ordering maintenance equipment and supplies, record keeping, accepting deliveries, moving appliances, and other job-related duties.

Responsibilities

• General repairs to apartments and common areas of the buildings and grounds

• Availability for on-call purposes and flexibility to work weekends when necessary

Requirements

• Previous maintenance experience, preferably in the apartment or hotel industry
• Excellent customer service skills
• General computer knowledge
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, appliances, and apartment turns
• HVAC or EPA Universal Certification is a plus

Pay

Starting wage range: $22.00–$24.00 per hour, based on experience.
