Maintenance Technician

About the Role

The Maintenance Technician diagnoses issues with manufacturing equipment and performs necessary repairs. This role also includes general building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment and systems
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment
• Carry out various plumbing and carpentry tasks
• Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, digital voltmeters (DVM), and material handling equipment
• Identify and resolve electrical issues as they arise

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance processes
• Critical thinking ability to troubleshoot and identify malfunctions
• Knowledge of safety procedures and precautions
• Must be able to move, lift, and carry up to 65 lb
• Must be willing and able to walk 4-5 miles per shift

Qualifications

• Previous experience working on manufacturing equipment such as CNC machines, welding machines, laser machines, press brakes, forklifts, etc. (preferred)
• Preferred previous technical experience

Work Environment

Work environment includes exposure to humidity, heat, and cold in a warehouse setting.
