Maintenance Technician

Schedule

Full-time. Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM to start; then 4‑10 shifts Tuesday–Friday or Monday–Thursday (to be determined).

Pay

$25–$28 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues with malfunctioning mechanical/electrical equipment and complete required repairs
• Perform minor building plumbing, electrical and painting repairs as needed
• Execute preventive maintenance procedures and assist maintenance lead/manager in outage planning
• Other accountabilities as required

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational training highly preferred
• One to five years mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills in an industrial work setting
• Pneumatic & basic hydraulic knowledge preferred
• Ability to immediately understand and react to verbal safety commands, audio alarms, and written hazard alerts in English in a manufacturing setting
• Proficient in English to accurately read, interpret, and execute equipment lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) protocols and machine operation manuals
• Sufficient English verbal skills to clearly and instantly report machine malfunctions, near-misses, or unsafe floor conditions to supervisors and team members
• Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Ability to work all shifts and call‑ins if needed
• Pre‑employment background check and drug screen required
