Maintenance Technician

Kotarides Companies is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a Maintenance Technician for its rapidly growing portfolio of over 4,500 apartments. The company manages every phase from planning and building to lifetime property management and retains ownership of all established communities.

About the role

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the physical condition of the community at all times, supporting resident service requests, and ensuring timely turnover of vacant units.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance as directed by the Property Manager and Senior Maintenance Technician.
• Ensure timely completion of resident service requests.
• Ensure timely turnover of vacant units under direction of the Property Manager.
• Maintain cleanliness of the community.
• Maintain accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, service requests, expenditures, apartment make‑ready status, work‑in‑progress, etc.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of pertinent laws and EPA and OSHA regulations governing storage and management of hazardous materials.
• Participate in after‑hours on‑call rotation.
• Be available to report to work during inclement weather events for property clean‑up and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in apartment or similar maintenance.
• HVAC Certification – Type I and Type II required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Pay

$27.00 per hour.

Schedule

Full‑time position with rotating after‑hours on‑call responsibilities and availability for inclement‑weather emergencies.
